The Stellantis plant in Luton has boosted its production by introducing the Fiat Scudo light commercial vehicle (LCV). After its introduction, this validates the high demand and order volume for the Fiat Scudo van.

It is the first time FIAT automobiles are manufactured in the United Kingdom. The vehicles will be manufactured in both right and left-hand drive configurations for the European and British markets.

The new Fiat Scudo will continue to be manufactured in Hordain, France, where the battery-powered Fiat e-Scudo is manufactured for all markets.

Luton continues to manufacture commercial cars using internal combustion engines, including the Opel Vivaro, Citroen Jumpy, Citroen Dispatch, and Peugeot Expert.

Mark Noble, Luton Plant Manager, stated, "It's fantastic news that the Luton plant will begin producing the Fiat Scudo. We now produce all of the Stellantis brand's mid-sized LCVs for the United States and European markets."
