In April, the Fiat brand confirmed the excellent sales figures for the first quarter of 2022. According to the Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA), the Fiat 500e was the best-selling all-electric vehicle (Battery Electric Vehicle BEV) on the German market last month. Furthermore, the Fiat 500e also leads the sales hit parade of the so-called low-emission cars (Low Emission Vehicle LEV), which includes many hybrid models concerning segment A for April and the period from January to April 2022.
With 1,829 registered cars, the Fiat brand claimed a second place among all manufacturers offering electric vehicles in Germany. Fiat thus achieved a market share of 8.2 percent for fully electric vehicles. Moreover, in the model-related statistics from January to April 2022, the Fiat 500e ranks second across all segments among electric cars and low-emission vehicles.
"We are proud of how well the Fiat brand and the Fiat 500e electric car hold their ground in the environment of the strong domestic competitors on the German market. This success further confirms our strategy to make sustainable urban mobility accessible to everyone. We are also consistently pursuing the path to more sustainability and increased environmental protection with innovative concepts, for example, with the cooperation we have just started with Deutsche Bahn," comments Roberto Debortoli, Brand Director Fiat and Abarth.
In addition to its iconic design, one of the strengths of the Fiat 500e is it's long-range. Depending on the model, it is up to 320 kilometers.
